Supplemental U.S. State Privacy Notice
Effective Date: August 3, 2026 Version: 1.0
This Supplemental U.S. State Privacy Notice supplements the ProPal Privacy Policy. It applies to residents of U.S. states that provide privacy rights applicable to ProPal’s processing. Rights vary by state, business size, data volume, exemptions, and the relationship between the person and ProPal.

Users should not submit Social Security numbers, full payment-card data, health records, government identification, passwords, or unrelated sensitive information.
2. Sources
ProPal may collect information:
- directly from customers and providers;
- automatically from devices, browsers, carriers, and systems;
- from Twilio, SendGrid, Stripe, Google Maps Platform, Supabase, AI providers, and other vendors;
- from a provider that distributed a ProPal number;
- from publicly available business or licensing sources where used for verification;
- from support, complaint, security, and legal processes; and
- through generated routing, classification, and audit records.
3. Business and Commercial Purposes
ProPal uses personal information to:
- provide SMS intake and service-request coordination;
- identify users and maintain conversation continuity;
- preserve provider-number attribution;
- classify and route service requests;
- evaluate provider coverage, status, and availability;
- facilitate a provider handoff;
- deliver email and SMS communications;
- administer provider accounts and subscriptions;
- process payments and billing events;
- provide support and respond to requests;
- maintain security, prevent fraud, and enforce policies;
- debug, test, analyze, and improve the Service;
- comply with law and carrier requirements; and
- establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
4. Disclosure Categories
ProPal may disclose relevant categories of information to:
- independent service providers considered or selected for the customer’s requested service;
- communications vendors such as Twilio and SendGrid;
- database, storage, authentication, hosting, and deployment vendors such as Supabase and web hosts;
- AI model providers such as OpenAI and/or Anthropic;
- mapping and geolocation services such as Google Maps Platform;
- payment processors such as Stripe;
- security, monitoring, professional, insurance, legal, and accounting vendors;
- government, regulatory, judicial, carrier, or law-enforcement entities where legally permitted or required; and
- successors in a merger, financing, reorganization, acquisition, or asset transfer.
5. Sale, Sharing, and Targeted Advertising
ProPal does not knowingly sell personal information for money. ProPal does not share mobile numbers, SMS opt-in data, or messaging consent with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes.
ProPal may disclose service-request information to an independent provider for the operational purpose requested by the customer. That disclosure is necessary to evaluate, accept, schedule, quote, or perform service and does not transfer the customer’s SMS consent for unrelated provider marketing.
ProPal does not presently describe its ordinary website operation as using personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising or targeted advertising. If that changes, ProPal will update its disclosures and provide legally required opt-out methods before or when the practice begins.
6. Rights That May Apply
Subject to applicable law and exceptions, a resident may have the right to:
- confirm whether ProPal processes the resident’s personal information;
- access or obtain a copy of personal information;
- correct inaccuracies;
- request deletion;
- obtain data portability;
- opt out of sale, sharing, targeted advertising, or certain profiling;
- limit certain uses of sensitive personal information;
- appeal a denied request; and
- receive equal service without unlawful discrimination for exercising rights.
These rights are not absolute. ProPal may retain information necessary to provide requested services, preserve opt-out records, complete transactions, maintain security, comply with law, exercise legal claims, protect others, or use internal information permitted by law.
7. How to Submit a Request
Submit a request by:
- emailing hello@textpropal.com with the subject “Privacy Request”; or
- texting (580) 217-3213 and requesting privacy assistance.
Providers may initiate a request through the Provider dashboard.
The request should include the requester’s name, state of residence, mobile number or provider account email associated with ProPal, the right requested, and sufficient detail to locate relevant information.
8. Verification
ProPal will verify requests using information reasonably related to the account or interaction. ProPal may send a verification message to the mobile number or email on record, request account authentication, or ask for additional information. Do not send a copy of government identification unless ProPal specifically requests it through a secure method.
If ProPal cannot reasonably verify identity or authority, it may deny or limit the request.
9. Authorized Agents
Where state law permits an authorized agent, the agent must provide proof of authorization. ProPal may also require the consumer to verify identity and confirm authorization directly, unless law provides otherwise.
10. Appeals
If ProPal denies a request and applicable state law provides an appeal right, the response will explain how to appeal. Appeals may be emailed to hello@textpropal.com with the subject “Privacy Appeal” and should identify the prior request and basis for reconsideration.
11. Response Timing and Fees
ProPal will respond within the time required by applicable law and may extend the response period where permitted. ProPal generally will not charge for a request, but may charge or decline requests that are manifestly unfounded, excessive, repetitive, or otherwise subject to a lawful exception.
12. Data About Children
ProPal is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. ProPal does not knowingly sell or share personal information of consumers under 16 for cross-context behavioral advertising.
13. Financial Incentives
ProPal does not presently offer a program that pays consumers or provides materially different prices in exchange for personal information. Provider subscriptions and referral attribution are not consumer financial-incentive programs.
14. Universal Opt-Out Signals
Where applicable law requires recognition of a browser-based universal opt-out mechanism, ProPal will process a valid signal for the browser or device as required. A browser signal does not function as an SMS STOP request. To stop SMS, reply STOP.
15. Retention
Retention depends on the information and purpose. ProPal may retain:
- active SMS and service-request records for service continuity, support, and dispute handling;
- provider account, contract, billing, and tax records for legal and financial periods;
- consent, opt-out, suppression, delivery, and campaign records for messaging compliance;
- security, fraud, and audit records for risk management;
- customer attribution records while numbers remain active and reasonably thereafter;
- backups for a limited recovery cycle; and
- de-identified or aggregated data for longer periods.
